Burden

Time to update.  I have been so remiss.

Today's challenge is a sketch which I have combined with the Alphabet Challenge on SCS.

V is for Vintage ....

This is a copy of a print by Harrison Fisher, one of my favorite illustrators of the 20th century.

Inside it says,

""And also the smartest person in the room!"

I hope you like it.

Two cards today

Today I combined the two challenges at SCS - the sketch and the ABC (N is for newsprint).....

The slimline size is becoming really popular, and I make a few, but I still like the A2 size.

Both of these have a bit of humor (surprised?), and will go to DD and a granddaughter in my weekly send-offs.

I'll be watching the Imauguration all the rest of the morning, but will check in with your blogs later.  Thanks for visiting mine.  Hugs.

CCEE2050 The Glow of Christmas

The final challenge of the year from Lynn is the following...

"For the final Challenge, I am asking that your cards reflect a seasonal light of hope and promise for a brighter new year.  It can be represented by a candle, the lights on a Christmas tree, the star of Bethlehem, or any other light that comes to mind."

This will be my final card as a member of the CCEE stampers.  I have really enjoyed all the challenges, and especially my teammates.  Over the years, I have loved being part of this incredibly talented group. Thank you to all of you who were kind enough to leave lovely comments on my creations!! Although I will not be taking part in the future, it doesn't mean that I won't be checking up on the doings of the CCEE-ers.  I'll be with you in spirit, and seeing you on Splitcoaststampers!!

She says, one of the first interactive cards she created when she first started stamping 30 years ago (!) was a shaker card, so that's the challenge this week.  Bonus points if there is a milkshake!

My favorite was always a strawberry milkshake, so that's what I have here!
