Welcome to another CCEE Challenge! This week our hostess Joanne (jojot) chose an International theme.
I thought you could probably figure out for yourself what country I chose!
The colors are monochromatic sepia on tan, with brown ribbon and raffia. The images are from Beeswax, and the sand dunes were made by sponging post-its. I used the hieroglyphics on the side only, and stamped them in black so they would show up just a little more. The charm is from MFP. If you click on the card, you will see a larger image.
Please join us and link your card to our blog HERE. Don't forget to check out the DT entrees, and make a comment or two. See you again next week. ( I also used this for the Free For All)
Now I know you were just dying to see some RED, and so was I, so here is my card honoring our Queen For The Day, Melina (mepylant).
I'm beginning to make Mother's Day cards, and I just loved her colors and layout. I changed the image and sentiment to the new set from Mark's Finest Papers, Mother's Magnolias, that will be released here on Tuesday. Please come here then to see the samples of what's in store. (And don't forget to check here for sneak peeks too!)
Our diets are a bother, so I think since we are missing our regular food and snacks, not to mention going out and having a glass of wine, we will quit while we have the chance. We lost 4 lbs. I should have lost 10-15. Life goes on, and I'd like to enjoy it. (Had a cortisone shot in my thumb yesterday - if it works, surgery will be OUT. YAY!) Have a great day!
