CCEE2018 Penguins

For her last challenge of the month, Frances says,

"Apparently the 25th of April was World Penguin Day.  Feature penguins in your cards the week.  If you don't have penguins, then create a black and white card."

This goes to my DD Amy, who is an Attorney.  The saying is,

"Wouldn't it be fun to defend a penguin in court?  You could say 'Your Honor, my client is not a FLIGHT RISK.'"

CCEE2017 Interactive

Frances says,

"Anyone who knows me knows how much I love cards that pop, slide, or move in any shape or form.   For our challenge this week, let's create an interactive card.... what type you make is up to you."

I made a wiper card.  This is a birthday card for our grandson Tom, whom we call "monkey boy".

CCEE2016 Stencil

There are so many fun stencils out there these days to help decorate our cards.  Frances challenges us to create a card that uses at least one stencil, either for a background or focal image.

My alphabet stencil is the bg, with vellum laid over in the same bayou blue.  The flower and leaf are backed with white, and there are brads in the corners holding the vellum in place.

thanks sfor looking.  Please join us HERE.

CCEE2014 Garden

Our hostess this month is Frances.  She says,

"According to the Days of the Year web site, April is Garden Month.  So for our challenge this week be inspired by a garden....flowers, plants, trees, insects, garden shed, etc., anything that you might find in a garden is good for this challenge."

I made these little pots of flowers with Tapestry dowel stamps.  I think they're really sweet!
