CHF and Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Blog Hop Final Day! (CCEE Below)

For the Final day of our combined Cornish Heritage Farms and Faber-Castell Blog Hop, I used one of my favorite images (Giraffe), and gold metallic Gelatos.

The giraffe was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed in black.  The gold gelato was rubbed over the image, then around the edge of the panel.  Finally, it was backed with some matching paper, I added a ribbon, and a small CHF sentiment.

Here's another card using gelatos........can you tell I had fun with them????

I hope  you have enjoyed seeing what can be done with the new products from F-C, and will look at what CHF has to offer as well.  We invite you, as always, to use CHF images, and link HERE.  There are wonderful stamps to be given away!!  See you soon.

CCEE1309 Fairies

For the last challenge of the month, Frances asked us to create a card for National Tooth Fairy Day, which is today.

Since all my gands have finished losiing their teeth, I went in another direction.  I used this cute inchie and a fun sentiment.  It will go in my stash, waiting for the appropriate occasion.

Please join us this week, and be sure your card features a fairy of some kind.  You can link it HERE where we can enjoy it too.  See you next week!

CHF and Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Blog Hop Day 3

Welcome back to the combined Cornish Heritage Farms and Faber-Castell Blog Hop.  Today I have used Gelatos and markers directly on my stamp image.

I spritzed my stamp with water, and applied to water color paper.  It went through the cuttlebug with a nestie, is backed with some fun paper, and a ribbon finishes it off.

Don't forget to check out Faber-Castell, and all their wonderful products!

Please join us with your CHF images (I used Large Daisies), and link your card HERE.  Come and see what the team has to offer tomorrow for our last day.

CHF21 Doily and Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Blog Hop

This is our second day combining the Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge with Faber-Castell, using their fabulous new products!!

Our hostess for this week's Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge is Cindy, who chose for us to use a DOILY.

I used Gelatos in Pistachio Green to make an emboss-resist background.  The pattern is CHF's Large Dots Backgrounder (SL3152).  After stamping with Versamark on my white paper, and embossing with clear ep, I wiped on the gelato, smoothed it with my fingers, and wiped off the excess.

The Flower Jar (1602) is a CHF digi, white I printed up, and painted with Guava, Green Tea, and Metallic Gold (all from Faber-Castell), adding a little light blue paint.  I cut it out, popped it up, and printed a tag with a CHF  sentiment on a little gelato'ed tag.

We will continue two more days, using the wonderful new Gelatos, and Mix and Match Media Samplers from Faber-Castell.  Please go to their website, and see how great their products are!

.Please join us and link your card HERE.  See you again next week!

CHF and Faber-Castell Day 1

Today is the first of a 4 day Blog Hop of Cornish Heritage Farms in partnership with Faber-Castell.

My card uses the CHF set called Ornamental Beauty (LL6018).  The background is Gingham (SL3179),

The inks are a new product from Faber-Castell, that look like lip balm sticks, and are called Gelato.  They are very creamy!  I sprayed with water to get the soft look.

Please come back and join us.  If you have F-C media of any kind, feel free to use them.  Link your cards HERE, being sure to use CHF images, and you could win some great stuff!  See you tomorrow.

Calla Lilies

Today is the day to celebrate the Featured Stamper at SplitCoastStampers.  Her name is Andrea, and she has a gallery of pretty cards.

The one I chose to CASE had this same layout, with twine and a button.  I used an old SU set called Long-Stemmed for these beautiful Calla Lilies, and reversed the color choices Andrea had on her card.

I eliminated a sentiment, as I felt it wasn't necessary.

We're having a mixture of rain and snow today.  I'm so glad we are toasty warm in our house.  Hope you are toasty and warm wherever you are.

CHF20 Valentine

Welcome to another Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge.  This time I am your hostess, and the theme is Valentines Day.

This cow (cow 2 - 2525 Digi) with the rose in her teeth cracks me up! And how about that sentiment (I'm In The Moo-ood.... 2527 Digi)???

This little beauty is going to my DH, who also celebrates his birthday on the same day.

Please join us, linking your card HERE, and check out the blogs of the rest of the DT.

See you next week!

Snow, Copper Medallion and Peacock

We are in the midst of a blizzard, more than 2 feet of snow has already fallen, with more to come, and wild winds.  That's DH, using the snowblower for the first round.  He's 6'4" tall, so you can tell how deep the snow is!!

I had to make a brightly colored card today in self-defense!  I used the emboss resist technique, where embossing is put down first, then sponged.  I really love the soft look of the sponging.

This card is for three challenges today at SCS.  I just enjoy combining them...more of a challenge to me!

Hope you are safe and warm, wherever you are.  Thanks for looking, and enjoy your weekend.

CCEE1306 Enjoy The Ride!

Our Hostess for the month of February is Frances.  Our challenge this week is to create a card that features some sort of weather (apparently the 5th of Feb. was "Weatherperson's  Day"), ie. sun, clouds, rain, snow, etc.

As y ou can see, I stayed away from bad weather.  I'm tired of Winter already!!  I thought this fun card was more like Spring or Summer.  Am I rushing the seasons??

Please feel free to join us, and add your card to Mr. Linky HERE.  We'll be back next week with another theme from Frances.

TK Week at CHF

Here is a card I made with the Thomas Kinkade image "Guardian Castle.  It was cut with a nestie, layered on dark gray with a brick wall ef.

I colored the image with pencils, adding leaves and a flower.  The brown behind it is not part of the card.

Please join us, using your tk images from Cornish Heritage Farms.
