Snow, Copper Medallion and Peacock

We are in the midst of a blizzard, more than 2 feet of snow has already fallen, with more to come, and wild winds.  That's DH, using the snowblower for the first round.  He's 6'4" tall, so you can tell how deep the snow is!!

I had to make a brightly colored card today in self-defense!  I used the emboss resist technique, where embossing is put down first, then sponged.  I really love the soft look of the sponging.

This card is for three challenges today at SCS.  I just enjoy combining them...more of a challenge to me!

Hope you are safe and warm, wherever you are.  Thanks for looking, and enjoy your weekend.

I've been out of town since late yesterday and just got home. I thought I would check out blogs and see if I could find some pretty snow and I have. I want some!! :-) Take care and stay warm.

Your peacock is beautiful..and the bg with that beautiful color of embossing.

Holy smokes, Anne - that's a lot of snow! I'm happy to say our snowblower is sitting nice and warm in the garage and not being used - at least right now! I want Spring and Summer to get here. Your card is so gorgeous - the pretty sponging behind the lovely copper colored EF is beautiful!

I decorated my first floor powder room in peacocks last summer...they are so bright and friendly...Love them in copper too!
