CCEE2009 Pocket card

this is Anne Harmon here with my last challenge for the month of February.

Pocket cards are such fun.  Use any technique to make one.

Here it is, using matching papers,.  The outside says, "You are one of my nicest thoughts"(Georgia O'Keeffe), and the inside just says Love.

CCEE2008 Paper Piecing

Anne again.  My challenge to you this week is to make a card for a friend using paper piecing, and send it!

I love this silly bird from Rubbernecker.  He is pieced and sitting on a branch under a cloud with a slight sun showing.  The sentiment is from AI, and such fun!

CCEE2007 Valentine

This is Anne Harmon again.  Tomorrow is Valentine's Day (also my DH's birthday!).  My challenge to you is to make a masculine Valentine in non-traditional colors (no RED or pink).

On a clear things out kick, my DH has given the majority of his tools to our Erin's Nick, who just loves to tinker.  This Valentine will go to Nick.

CCEE2006 White Embossing

Happy February!  This is Anne Harmon, your hostess for the month.

White embossing is beautiful on neutral colors.  My first challenge to you is to use white embossing on a card using kraft, or any other shade of brown.

You will laugh, but I make holiday cards year 'round.  This card goes in my stash for Thanksgiving.

I love this image of a Native American woman, and think she looks fabulous embossed on brown vellum!
