CCEE1830 National Refreshment Day

Lynn's last challenge to us:

One way to beat the heat of summer is with a cold refreshment.  Do you cool down with a glass of lemonade, a rainbow snowcone, an ice cream cone, a cold bottle of beer?  Whatever it may be, share with the CCEE Stampers your favorite cool-down treat in your design this week.

For years I didn't eat ice cream.  It just never appealed to me.  Then........Hot Flashes struck, my body temperature changed, and now I LOVE ice cream.  Who knew????

CCEE1829 National Zookeepers Week

Lynn says........

"Trips to the zoo were always one of my favorite summer activities.  Let's honor the zookeepers of the world by including a zoo animal in our design this week.

Just couldn't resist a card of a lion, king of the jungle, and feature of many zoos.

CCEE1828 National Simplicity Day

Lynn says, "July 12 has been declared National Simplicity Day in honor of Henry David Thoreau who was a devoted advocate of living a life of simplicity.  So on this lazy day of summer, my challenge to you is to create a clean and simple one layer card!"

I die cut the stitched window into the front of a folded white card, then stamped the image through the window into the inside.  One layer, easy peasy!

CCEE1827 Impossible Card

The July challenges are brought to us by Lynn McAuley.  Her challenge to us is to make an "Impossible Card".

"This new fun fold based on a famous card trick is sweeping the internet.  I thought it would be great if the CCEE Stampers put their own "twist" on this design this week.  Here is a link to a tutorial by Maymay Made It Crafts that will show you what it is all about!  It demonstrates the Impossible card is several varied sizes - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Mf9Eq1PBxg".

Here is my card facing you

and this is the other direction

Fun card, with a "twist"!
