Blog Hop For Joanne (jojot)

In honor of our very dear friend and colleague on the CCEE team, this card is posted in remembrance of what a creative and fun person Joanne Grzelak was to all of us.

I have recently had hand surgery, and was not able to make a card.  Instead I am posting a card Joanne made and sent to me.  It's so typical of her style, especially the piercing that was always done so perfectly!

Joanne sent me cards on a regular basis.  We met at a stamp show in Springfield MA a number of  years ago where I was a demonstrator.  She surprised me by coming up to me and announcing herself.  It set off giggles, and we became friends - more than just in "cyberland".

Here is one of her cards that I have treasured (I have saved them ALL!).

Most of the cards she made for me were RED, my favorite color, but this one shows how detailed her cards really were.

I shall sorely miss her, and this blog in her honor (which would have embarrassed her!), is a tribute to a fabulous stamper, and a wonderful person.  Love you, my friend.

Here is the list of everyone who is participating in the blog hop. .

How nice that you have kept this card Joanne sent to you. And I'm a bit jealous that you had met her IRL.

Joanne's card choked me up. What a wonderful friend she was. I, too, was the recipient of cards and I treasure each and every one. We shall miss her so much

Hope your hand is coming along! Hugs!

Get well wishes to you, my sweet friend. Thanks for sharing this beautiful card that Joanne sent you. It touched my heart that you had personally met her and that this was the last card of hers you received from her. I cherish those last comments she made on some of my cards. She will be missed.
