CCEE1540 Block Card

Well, this was a fun challenge from our October hostess, Maryann Einam.  She gave us two tutorials to watch to make our card/project today.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkK9r2taoms

Here's the block card I made:

I used SU's set, Happy Fall, Y'all for my words, done in markered distress ink, and the leaves are Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaves.  I think it's really cute.  I'll next make an envie to send this (5 x 6 1/2 to give it enough room).

Thanks for looking.  Please join us, linking your card HERE.

I love the way you used the blocks to step your sentiment out, Anne. And that DP with the angular lines (sorry, bad phrasing - graphic lines) contrasting with the curves in the leaves really appeals to me.

aren't you the clever one with the leaves......I love this.......wish I had thought of it.....I did make the basic block card, but failed at decorating it......might have to add some leaves so it isn't a complete waste......thx for the inspiration

Love your card, Anne! I hope the fall leaves on all the blocks usher in some cooler weather. Great job with this technique!
