I chose to make an acetate card. Here it is:
This is how it looks on the outside, stamped with Stazon ink, and then a stamped sentiment backed with matte silver paper. I added a punched flower, a popped-up stamped flower and some silver domes. Below is how it looks on the inside, with just the message and a stamped flower. The backing for the sentiment is on the reverse of the acetate, so no glue shows.
Pretty neat, huh?
Please join us this week in making a card with acetate. There are lots of tutorials on Splitcoaststampers to help you. Then post your card or project on our blog HERE so we can see what you've done. see you again next week for another challenge.

I love the pretty stamped flourishes on this. This was a fun challenge this week.
Great design, Anne! I love your pink swirls stamped directly on the acetate! Beautiful work!
such a pretty card
Good use of the acrylic, Anne. I always have difficulty with it and never thought to do this! You're so SMART!!!
Love this look of the floating panel on the acetate - Maryann
If you think I did well with the glitter stained glass - the feeling is reciprocated here. Between being so hard (for me!) to take a good photo of, and the fact that they always seem to pick up dust and fingerprints, I avoid acetate cards like the plague. But I think they look fabulous, and this one is gorgeous. I think you must be the only person I know with pink StazOn, LOL.
you must have a very steady hand...every time I try to stamp with Stazon on acrylic, I smudge.....you did it beautifully...fab card
Lovely stamping on your clear card Anne!
