Our hostess for the month of June is Brenda O'Rear (Benzi). She challenged us to use the direct to paper technique.
I stamped my ink directly from the pad (Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads) to the white background, then inked stamps to place on the squares made by the pads.
I hope you will want to join us, this week and every week for FUN! Please link your card
HERE , and be sure to check out the whole team's entries.

I like this, Anne. At first I thought you had used acrylic blocks, but I see from the description that you did indeed use the ink pads. It gives the same effect.
Such a very pretty CAS card, Anne. Love that image (you know, the RED one!)
Very pretty, Anne. I do like this easy technique that allows a quick card. Good job!
Anne,
Your card is lovely and elegant and the colors are soft and serene!
Duh, why didn't I think of just using the pad to stamp instead of swiping it! Much easier, and so very effective. I love the organic feel to this with those soft earth tones.
beautifully done.....great balance to the design.....
so sorry I did not see you at the Big E last weekend.....I refrained as I have sooooo many virgin stamps in the stamp cave and need to save some money....but I did really miss not seeing you abd Julia
This is so pretty, I love the colors. I also thought you had used the acryllic blocks. Good job with the challenge.
