Our Hostess for May (Shirley) challenged us to make a CAS card with scraps.
My butterfly background is the negative I saved (a scrap!) from a die cut. I filled in the empty space with scraps of RED, and I'm sure it's no surprise to you that I have plenty of those!
Please feel free to join us, and link your card HERE.

Loving your "scrappy" butterfly
A red delight...I'd love to see that butterfly flitting from flower to flower in my garden!
this is about as red as it can get! what fun! the different prints are fabulous!
FYI... when i click on your blog thru bloglovin it comes up in HTML code.
hugs :)
Imagine that -- a red card from Anne! I like your patchwork butterfly.
That's a very pretty butterfly out of your red scraps, Anne! Cute CAS card.
I am beginning to think that red is your favorite color. Surely not. :) I love the red scrapped butterflyi and the doodling around your frame. Very pretty.
Anne,
Your butterfly is wonderful and I love the different DPs - very pretty card!!
Great scrap pieced butterfly! The mix-match of papers filling your negative looks terrific. :)
Anne, that butterfly is just lovely! I was recently reading through a scrapping book and one idea I made a note of was to piece scraps and then cut them. Layering them behind a negative would be a whole lot easier and just as effective :D.
No, I'm not surprised you have a lot of red scraps!!
you are just too 'scrappy' for me....so clever to do the butterfly like this....LOVE it and the RED
