Our hostess for this tutorial is Lagene. Her Tutorial is so interesting! I learned a lot on this one...I had never done both on one card before.
I used MFP's new set "I'm In Stitches", and of course RED!

This one is so pretty, I like red, too. Great job on the technique. I hope I find time to try it.
Wow, Anne, I love your scissor BG and the pretty red color you used. Very pretty card and awesome technique. I remember my Grandmother having a sewing machine like this and it was in a wood case. When you lifted the top, you pulled the machine up from its side and locked it in place. When finished, unlock and lower back down!
