And Yes! That is the right spelling! I don't want any comments on A's and E's!! LOL!
For the sketch challenge today, which was really easy, I just couldn't use RED, and I apologize for it right away. We had the most fabulous colored rose that bloomed all summer last year, up until late October. The lavender was so startling beautiful, we couldn't bear to even cut one!!
This is so close to the color .... it is a stunner, isn't it???
Have a wonderful day. We have sun again. I am so "pumped" as my DGS Tommy says!! Hugs to you all!

WOW, Anne, this is GORGEOUS!! I don't think I've ever seen a real lavender rose, but can only imagine it would be so striking!
This is really a gorgeous color, Anne. I seem to be gravitating toward this color (with a bit of buttery yellow) in my garden this year. I went with all pink last year and it was a bit much. My wave petunias looked like a sea of Pepto Bismol :)
I love roses and yours is a beauty. You did a great job on the sketch-no need to apologize for no red-this is a great color
Oh I just love your purple hues and the beautiful rose!! I wish I had time to play with the sketch!! Looks like a nice one!!
hugs,
Chris
