The DDIC this week takes its inspiration from
a site called Lovely Package. These four bottles of Herbal Waters are surely beautiful, but when I saw the RED and the hibiscus, I knew just where I'd be going with my papers and inks!!
I kept the background vanilla color of the label, and watercolored an image of the flower I received in a grab bag and never inked. Can you imagine?
The tan punched piece represents the lettering below the flower, and the RED ribbon finishes it off.
Please join us in the challenge, and upload your card or project to:
http://www.divastamper.blogspot.com/
so we can see what you've done. If you upload to SCS, please add DDIC to your keyword. Play with us again the first Thursday in May.

this is so pretty anne-I love hibiscus and you created a beauty for sure
Anne, how did I know you'd go for the red one? ;) Your image is just perfect, and I love how you emulated the design of the bottle in your layout. Lovely card!
This is gorgeous Anne!! I just love your flower!! Your water coloring rocks!! Beautiful design and an excellent take on the inspiration!!
Beautiful take on the challenge, Anne! Love the RED hibiscus. Can't believe I didn't notice it was a hibiscus; they're one of my fave flowers. Wonderful coloring and I love the band w/ the punched ends.
Absolutely beautiful, woman!!! I just love your watercolored image! Great minds think alike, eh?
So gorgeous! I loved that red bottle too!
big, bold, and beautiful and RED
Wow, you nailed this challenge, that flower is perfect, and it really shines on your clean card design!
I love this card... really love the RED in it Anne, Of course you would choose this color... what other color is there.. LOL.... Love the flower... it is beautiful..
Weaving pages are great.. will get to you soon..
Your card certainly met the challenge! And I've seen yet another very effective ribbon treatment; it seems to be a ribbon tied around another strip of ribbon and simply knotted. Perhaps tied to the background piece, but not necessarily.? A great idea I'll try to remember! Your card is beautiful. TFS
