The Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge uses this photo of a Mexican resort, where our "fearless Leader" Lori, is spending her Anniversary with her DH!!
I made a layout based on the decorations of the clothing (blanket? serape?). I just love this Native American woman. I dressed her in bold colors of yellow, blue, and green. She has a copper bead on her neckpiece, and copper beads on her belt. Her hands are open in a wonderful gesture that I took to be PEACE. With a copper pen, I faux stitched and added a sentiment. The bottom border is from EKSuccess, called Zig-Zag.
The colors are just so earthy, bright, and gorgeous, aren't they?? I took these colors and a wonderful image (Southwestern is close to Mexican, right???) from Rubbernecker for my card today.

Great take on the inspiration, Anne! I love geometric patterns so I'm finding your card appealing just because of that, but those bold colors are sending me right over the top!
