Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge - Congrats/Anniversary

This challenge today is really timely for me. Our oldest son David, and his wife Sarah, will be celebrating their 18th anniversary on May first. This will go to them. The punched piece is gold matte paper, and was it ever a pain in the **** to punch. It's pretty thick, and once I started it, I had to finish. I have more of the paper left, but you can be sure it won't be punched EVER AGAIN!

StampinB's Challenge - Mother's Day

Today's challenge is submitted by Vicki D. to make a Mother's Day card. I just had to make one in yellow, white,  and orange, with some soft flowers and using some punches. Second Day - Tommy and Gramma

Here are the cards Tommmy and I made today.  Tommy used last week's sketch.  He thought it looked like pages in a book, so he made a handbook for magic.  I love the way his mind works......ten year olds have a lot going on!!

Mine uses "Owl Be Here" from MFP for THIS week's sketch.  I hope you like it.

From Tommy and Gramma today

Here are the cards Tommy and I made this morning.  They are for the two challenges at SCS today.  He is staying for a few days during his school vacation, and his brother John went home, making room for him.  Tommy loves to make cards, and had his own ideas about his images. 
His interest at the moment is mythology.  The image represents the staff of Hermes, and instead of twining snakes at the top, he put a tulip there.  What an imagination!
My card is a doorway with tulips already blooming.  I hope you like them both.  Have a great day.

Below are the four cards our grandson John made yesterday. he is here for a few days to finish his "vacation" at Grammy and Grampy's. He loves to color and draw, and has his own ideas. Speedy The Cat's Friends Challenge - Collage and IC

The challenge today is to make a collage. This is the hardest thing for me...... I never think what I do is good enough. I'm sure it takes a certain way for the mind to work, and mine just doesn't!! I hope y ou like this... it's off to my mother, who is going on vacation for two weeks (with me! LOL!) I know she will get a kick out of getting a card!

Both cards are for the Inspiration Challenge at SCS today........I loved the website so much I did two cards. This second one uses a new set from MFP called "Oh Boy, It's A Girl". I hope you like them both!

Belli Challenge #115 - Bunnies/Eggs

My card is a CASE of Becky Spinks's called Wedding. She is our Featured Stamper today on SCS. I used the big image from a new set that will be released in two days called "Bearded Iris". My card today does dual duty.......for the Embedded Embossing technique, but especially for the Queen For The Day, Harriet Skelly (hskelly) at SCS. She is such a dear and sweet friend, I am just thrilled she was deservedly chosen. I cased a fairly simple card of hers, which you can see if you go to my gallery. Enjoy your day, Harriet, and the rest of you too. I'm off for my yearly eye appt., and will need new lenses. DH says that's what the $ is for! You know I'd rather be spending it on supplies, of course!! See you tomorrow!

These cards are for StampinB's Challenge #105. Brenda challenged us to make a card in navy and green, with dots, stripes, or plaid. I've taken part in these challenges before, but never as a Design Team member!

The zebra card is a sneak peek of MFP's "Oh Boy, It's a Girl" to be released next week, and also for the WT317.
