Do you hear sirens???

I think I may just be in trouble with two challenges this AM. For the CAS, there was a sketch by Lisa Lara......I followed it, flipped it, but it has a little too much stuff for CAS. Life of its own, ya know what I mean?
For the TLC, the challenge was to use newspaper. Luckily, we get the Sunday edition to hold in our hands, so I had some. I tried all kinds of ways to use some, but it wouldn't work for me. I ended up using just the single word. As my DD says, O for 2!
If you hear sirens in the distance, they are surely for me!
Mom is so much better. She wants to go home tomorrow, and if she can drive, she can get on with her life. By now, she's probably more sick of us than her original malaise. Thanks to all of you for your comments to her along with your well-wishes. Hugs!!

So glad your mom is feeling better! You sound a bit like me in dealing with newspaper creations...I had numerous attempts at making scalloped punched rows that went into my trash can! Love your sunflower, but must say those bees look too real...am tempted to get out my fly swatter! LOL!

I love your card and the one piece of newspaper! lol! I kept seeing cards for this challenge and thinking if I participated, I would have to go buy a newspaper!

Wow, Anne!! The sunflower and bees look so incredibly real. Love the way you popped that up.
I saw a bee today and thought, dude- you are way too early to make a go of it, come back in May :)
Love all of your cards on this page. Haven't had much chance to blog surf or even stamp lately. Hope to get back to it soon!
