DDIC #17

On the left is the picture Lori chose for our Inspiration Challenge this time. It comes from Garnet Hill. There are wonderful mugs for hot cocoa, tea, coffee, latte, whatever anyone would love to warm up on a cold winter night!

I chose to work with the colors in making my card for the Divine Divas. The bg is the dotted blue and white, and the mug is a wonderful new Cloud Nine dp that my mother found, and brought to me. I added marshmallows, because that's the best part of hot cocoa, right??

I love the sentiment that was on one of the mugs, Let It Snow. I HATE snow, and dislike it more the older I get, but it sure was just right to fit on the punches for my card. I prefer, Eat Drink and be Merry, but I didn't happen to have those words. Gotta go with what ya got!!

I hope you will join us this week, and that you look at the cards of the DT on the sidebar of my blog. If you should participate, please put DDIC in your keyword, and check in with us again in two weeks.

Love this, Anne - your mug and awesome punched sentiment are fantastic! I'm with you... my DH calls me a scrooge but I hate snow with a passion!

Great card, Anne! I chuckled when I read your comments about the sentiment. I really wanted to put "let is snow {somewhere else}" on my card, lol. I'm not a big fan of snow either...unless I have the day off and can enjoy it from the warmth of my house!

This is so cute, Anne! I love the scallop edge and cute little cup of cocoa. It looks terrific paper pieced like this. Unlike you, I love snow. But we don't get a lot of it here, so I can say that, lol.
